UAVs are drawing significant legal and practical scrutiny, ranging from privacy issues to national security. At this point, nine states around the nation, including Florida (and its "Freedom from Unwarranted Surveillance Act"), have enacted (or soon will enact) laws that prohibit law enforcement agencies from using UAVs. The intelligence (no pun intended) of such reactionary legislation is suspect.
